After you meet and greet, the drive in your earlier on preferred safari vehicle to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park starts. At Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, you trek the Mountain Gorillas and then transfer back to either Kampala or Entebbe International Airport for a departure flight.
Day 1: Transfer or drive from Entebbe International Airport or Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. There will be a brief stop at the equator line. Distance 550km, drive time 8h 48min.

Day 3: Transfer/drive back to Kampala or Entebbe International Airport from Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

For the almost 550km drive to Bwindi National Park, you are driven on a 4×4 wheel safari vehicle on a fairly tarmacked road along Kampala- Masaka –Mbarara route.
About 80km from Kampala, there will be a stop at the Equator line in Kayabwe for photography and geographical experiments. The equator is the world’s zero latitude line that divides the world into two halves, the northern and southern hemispheres. Being positioned here, this has made Uganda tours ideal especially because of the favorable tropical climate. At the equator line, you experiment on the forces within the zero latitude line and how they affect the movement to water at this point. This is your long awaited Uganda Mountain Gorilla tracking safari in Bwindi forest. After an early morning breakfast, your Uganda safari driver guide will pick you up from the accommodation facility for a drive to the gorilla trekking sector headquarters. At the headquarters, briefing on the tracking etiquette starts before 8:00am local time. During briefing, a total of 8 tourists are allocated a single gorilla family to trek according to fitness levels.
Each gorilla safari Uganda trekker then receives a trekking stick and heads to the jungle in company of the park rangers and guides, Mountain Gorilla trekking in Bwindi is unpredictable because of the movement behaviors of the gorillas and therefore the activity lasts about 6-8 hours.
