According to your flight time, arrive at Entebbe International Airport which is the main
getaway into Uganda. It is located on the shores of Africa’s biggest freshwater lake (Lake
Victoria) and roughly 40 km from Uganda’s capital city Kampala. If time allows you will do a
nice walk around to get a sense of the place. Overnight stay at Protea Hotel Entebbe (L) /
papyrus guest House (M)
On this day you will enjoy great scenery of Uganda’s countryside as you drive to lake Mburo
National park. Lake Mburo National Park is Uganda’s smallest national Park and the closest
park to both Kampala and Entebbe. You will enjoy a number of games as your drive to hotel of
stay. Overnight stay at Mihingo Lodge (L) / Kigarama Wilderness Lodge (M)
You drive to Lake Bunyonyi where you will have a relaxed afternoon. You may even take a boat
ride on the deepest lake in Uganda OR do a community visit. Your lunch, dinner and Overnight
stay will be at Overnight stay at Birdnest Bunyonyi (L) / Arcadia Cottages (M)
An early morning breakfast, go for a briefing at the park headquarters, in accompaniment of
guides and rangers, you enter the forest to begin the Gorilla tracking activity which takes 2-10
hours depending on the movements of these gorillas. Other animals and birds might be
spotted too and these include the l’Hoest’s monkey, African elephant, birds like the African
green broadbill, Grauer’s rush warbler, Chaplin’s flycatcher, African giant swallowtail among
others. After tracking, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, you will be picked from the lodge and drive to Bwindi national park. This
National Park is located in the south-western part of Uganda next to the Virunga National Park
and on the edge of the Albertine Rift. Bwindi national park is a home to various animal and bird
species. This includes over 214 species of birds and 120 species of mammals. Bwindi national
park is well known for its endangered mountain Gorillas. Apart from the gorillas there are
other animals like the ‘Hoest’s monkey, African elephant, African green broadbill, Grauer’s rush
warbler, Chaplin’s flycatcher, African giant swallowtail among others. Lunch will be enroute.
Overnight stay at Gorilla Leisure Lodge(L) / Lake Mulehe Safari Lodge (M)
Breakfast at leisure and proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park via Ishasha sector, a chance
to watch the tree climbing lions other possible encounters include, buffaloes, kobs, Elephants,
giraffes, hyenas, warthogs and others. Proceed towards Ishasha River, south of the park, a
popular sight with tree climbing lions. Over night stay at Overnight stay at Mweya Safari
Lodge (L) / Marafiki Safari Lodge (M)
Early in the morning game drive in Kasenyi plains, anticipate to sight big herds of elephants,
Lions, leopards and other wildlife. Surprised at what the day will bring for they live in their
natural habitat and move free from place to place, no day looking like the other. On this
day, you choose to do LION TRACKING- (OPTIONAL). In the afternoon, a boat ride on
Kazinga, the natural biggest channel in the world, which connects two lakes, lake Edward
and lake George. Enjoy magical moments where the animals are drinking and playing by the
water bank. Spend the night at the lodge inside the park.
A farewell breakfast followed by a game drive and then a beautiful drive to Kibale forest
national park, known as the highest concentration of chimpanzees in Uganda. Along this long
drive you will have the opportunity to pass by locals in their daily life, villages, small markets
and enjoy the view of the great landscapes in Uganda with a nice local buffet lunch and visit
the great crater lake. Spend the night in the forest. Overnight stay at Chimpanzee Forest
Lodge (L) / Kibale Tourist Safari Lodge (M)
After an early breakfast, you’ll have briefing session the park officials and later set off to the
rainforest on the chimpanzee tracking adventures. Return to the lodge for lunch and in the
evening, we organize the Bigodi swamp walk. Bigodi Swamp is popular with many swamp
endemic birds like pelicans, herons, collared apallis, bee eater, Narina trogon, black capped
apallis, yellow spotted nicator, blue headed sunbird, woodland warbler and more. The swamp
is also a major livelihood for the local community through tourism and crafts.
Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight as night before.
Early in the morning, start a scenic drive towards Murchison falls named after the Murchison
falls (the world’s strongest falls). Along the way you will branch off to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary
which is a home to 32 southern white rhinos for an experience of tracking these amazing
animals on foot and a chance to inspect them. After lunch, proceed to Murchison falls, visiting
the top of the falls before heading to the lodge. Overnight stay at Paraa Safari Lodge (L) /
Murchison River Lodge (M)
Early breakfast and proceed for a game drive with a chance of sightseeing predators hunting
in the early hours and bird watching. In the afternoon, after lunch a boat tour on the bottom
of the falls, which will give you chances of seeing waters’ birds, aquatic animals and then
return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Murchison park.
Breakfast and transfer to the hot springs, past a nice Lopelangoria observatory point, Kidepo
River up to the Hot spring. This scenic area will bring you close to the Hot spring and observe
almost the entire park, and be able to sight the ostriches as they roam the short grassy
plains. Come back to the lodge for breakfast & lunch. After lunch have nature guided walk.
Return to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.
You will drive to Sipi falls are in the foothills of Mount Elgon volcano – Africa’s 8th highest
mountain. This verdant and hilly landscape has a spectacular series of waterfalls and a network
of walking trails winding through villages and lush coffee-producing fields. You will arrive in Sipi
in time for lunch and after lunch you will visit the community which is such an amazing
experience. You will later stay for overnight listening to the amazing sound from the falls; you
will wake up the next day to breathtaking scenery of the Sipi waterfalls. Overnight stay at Sipi
River Lodge (L) /M
After breakfast take the first photographic game drives along the trails of the national park and
expect to explore the region of the river Narus valley. Kidepo contains one of the most exciting
faunas of any Ugandan parks, with over 80 species of mammals several of which restricted only
to Kidepo, like cheetahs, striped hyena and caracal. The bird list boasts over 465 species. A part
from the game drive, on request a visit to the local Karimojong homestead or “manyattas” can
be organized. Dinner and overnight as previous night. Overnight stay at Mara Safari Lodge (L)
/ Kidepo Savannah Lodge (M)
This morning after breakfast, embark on an early morning game drive through the park to
encounter Zebras, Giraffes, and many more that roam the short grassland plains of the
Narus valley. The Scenic view is splendid with Mt. Lotukei in the far background in the
Sudan. Lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon, embark on another game drive along the
Nagosokopire circuit. Appreciating beautiful sunset behind the long Nyangea ranges gives
you perfect opportunity for taking pictures. Return to your lodge for relaxation for dinner
and overnight.

The program ends with return back to Kampala and transfer to Entebbe International
Airport for late evening of night flights. Lunch en route
After breakfast, you will start the hike to the falls. The sipi falls is comprised of 3 waterfalls
each flowing from a different altitude. The highest fall drops from an altitude of 100m
referred to as the main fall since it is the last fall in the series, this fall is a little bigger than
the other two falls, but all give Uganda a beautiful scenery. In fact most people say that sipi
falls are the ‘most romantic falls’ in Uganda which is evidenced by the wonderful falls. This
area is majorly where most hikes to Mt. Elgon are started from. Hiking up to these falls gives
a beautiful scenic view, like Lake Kyoga, the karamoja low lands, coffee plantations and
other surrounding areas. Later in the Afternoon you will visit the coffee Plantations. Dinner
and overnight stay as above.
