5 Days Gorilla and White water rafting safari Uganda is a fantastic 5 days gorilla trekking safari in Uganda and white water rafting at Jinja-Nile River. You’ll have a white water rafting experience at Jinja source of the Nile and a gorilla safari in Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Traversing Uganda, on this trip you have the chance to visit the equator line and see the rolling hills of Kigezi. In just 5 days, there’s chance to have the best ever safari activities in Uganda with a glimpse of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas and a raft on the Nile water rapids as they still exist.
Tour starts with a pick up from Entebbe International Airport and departure still at the Entebbe International Airport passing through Kampala capital.
Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport and transfer to Kampala
Day 2: Transfer to Jinja for white water rafting and return to Kampala
Day 3: From Kampala, transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Day 4: Mountain Gorilla trekking
Day 5:Transfer back to Entebbe International Airport for departure
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport you will be met and transferred by your Uganda safari guide to a booked accommodation in Kampala for your overnight. Depending on the traffic situation of the day, you may pass through the city center for a brief city tour (not included in the cost and optional) before proceeding to your overnight accommodation.

Early morning, you departure to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park located in Southwestern Uganda. There’s a stopover at the equator for some informative talk, photography and some experiments before proceeding to Mbarara town arriving in time for Lunch. Drive through the rolling green hills of Banana and Tea plantations arriving in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the evening.
Drive time: 8-9 hours.
Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Accommodation: Silverback Lodge / Chameleon hill Lodge (subject to room availability at time of booking)
Early morning, have breakfast and carry your packed lunch, then report to the Park headquarters for registration and join other trackers in a briefing about the dos and the don’ts during your Uganda gorilla trekking safari at around 7:45 am. You will trek through thick creepers and undergrowth with your guides to find the Gorillas, which can take you half an hour to three quarters of the day. The steeply forested landscape is incredibly dense but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. It is an extraordinary feeling being with these beautiful yet endangered Creatures.
Dinner and overnight as previous night.
Early morning have breakfast then start the long drive back to Entebbe International Airport for a departure flight. Lunch is taken en route then continue for a departure flight late evening.
