Virtually untouched the trip rewards in return with several wildlife and bird sightings.
Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
Day 2: Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park and have an evening game drive
Day 3: Morning game drive and evening nature walk

Early morning at your place of residence, a Uganda safaris driver guide does a pick up and begins the drive northwards to the most stunning national park in Uganda while encountering local communities and indigenous farms as you proceed through the local pastoral tribes. After about a 2.5 hours drive, you have a rhino tracking experience at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. The guided nature walk in the sanctuary brings you up close with the endangered rhinos and the only ones in the country for about 2 hours. After Rhino tracking, you get back to the road for a drive to your lunch stop point. After lunch the drive then continues to Kitgum town, arriving late in the evening for check in, dinner and an overnight stay at a preferred earlier on booked accommodation facility.

After breakfast at you lodging facility, you embark on a drive to Kidepo Valley National Park. The drive covers about 154 km on a rough road. Arriving in the park you check in and have lunch as you prepare for an evening game drive.
In the afternoon you drive through the park in search for wildlife. Taking the Kakine circuit, you may come along wildlife like the Buffaloes (highest population in Uganda), waterbucks, Jackson’s Hartebeests, Rock hyrax, Elands (biggest antelopes), warthogs, Giraffes, Zebras, side striped jackal and many more. Some of the bird species seen here include the Abyssinian Ground Hornbill, cisticolas, secretary bird, vultures, crested Francolin and many more. After the game drive, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

In the morning after breakfast, take a morning game drive to the Nagusokopire circuit. Some of the bird species that may be seen here include the secretary bird, vultures, crested Francolin and many more. After the game drive, return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.
In the evening, you embark on a guided nature walk along with an armed park ranger. Taking the East Kakine circuit, you will have a chance to get very close to wildlife and experience the true African wilderness. After the nature walk, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Early this morning, you have breakfast then embark on another morning game drive to the hot springs. On this day, you head north of the park going past the Nangea ranges, the Boma (breeding point for some animals in the park) and the Kidepo River-lined on the banks with Borassus palm. The drive on this circuit offers chance to see wildlife like the rare cheetah, Dik Dik (smallest antelope and endemic to Kidepo Valley National Park) and any other species. The Ostrich is seen in this side of the park. After the game drive, return to your lodging facility for lunch and refreshment.
You spend the evening at leisure or alternatively visit the Karamojong community.
