Arrival in Nairobi & Transfer to Lake Naivasha
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by your professional safari driver-guide for a short briefing. You then depart for Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake in the Great Rift Valley known for its hippos, birdlife, and scenic beauty. After lunch, enjoy a relaxing boat ride on the lake followed by birdwatching along the shores, where you may spot fish eagles, kingfishers, and other species.
Afternoon Boat Ride & Bird Watching – Lake Naivasha
This activity offers a peaceful introduction to Kenya’s Rift Valley ecosystem. The boat ride takes you close to hippos resting in the shallow waters and provides excellent photography opportunities. Bird enthusiasts will enjoy sightings of over 400 recorded bird species in the area.
Transfer to Masai Mara Game Reserve
After breakfast, you depart Lake Naivasha and travel through the dramatic Rift Valley escarpments to Masai Mara National Reserve. Upon arrival and check-in, enjoy lunch followed by your first afternoon game drive across the vast savannah plains in search of lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and more.
Afternoon Game Drive in Masai Mara

Full Day Game Drive in Masai Mara

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi – Transfer to Tsavo East National Park
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional driver-guide. After a short safari briefing, depart on a scenic drive to Tsavo East National Park.
Arrive in time for lunch at Ashnil Aruba Lodge, overlooking the Aruba Dam — a popular wildlife gathering point. After lunch and some relaxation, head out for your first afternoon game drive.
Explore the park’s vast plains while spotting elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and various antelope species.
Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Full Day in Tsavo East National Park
Start your day with an early breakfast at the lodge before heading out for a full-day safari adventure.

Option 2: Take a relaxed approach with a morning game drive, return for lunch and rest, followed by an afternoon game drive.
