Arrival Day: Kilimanjaro International Airport – Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be warmly welcomed by your safari guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. You will spend the night at Green Mountain Hotel or Two Mountains Lodge on a Bed & Breakfast basis, preparing for the safari adventure ahead.
Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park – Karatu
After breakfast, depart Arusha at approximately 8:30 AM with packed lunch boxes. Drive to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive exploring its diverse landscapes and abundant wildlife.
Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park while surrounded by nature. In the afternoon, continue game viewing before exiting the park and proceeding toward Karatu. En route, you will visit a Maasai Boma for a cultural experience at Kwa Paulo.
Arrive in Karatu for dinner and overnight stay at Highview Coffee Lodge or a similar lodge on a Full Board basis.
Day 2: Karatu – Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy scenic views along the way, including a stop at Olduvai Gorge, where you will learn about early human history.
Have lunch at Naabi Hill Gate before entering the Serengeti for an afternoon game drive en route to your camp or lodge in Central Serengeti.
Dinner and overnight stay at Serengeti Safari Lodge or similar on a Full Board basis.
Day 3: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Start your day with an early morning game drive in Serengeti National Park, when wildlife is most active. After the drive, return to the lodge for breakfast and lunch.
Later in the afternoon, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with game viewing en route. Arrive at your lodge on the crater rim or nearby area for dinner and overnight stay at Ngorongoro Safari Lodge or similar on a Full Board basis.
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
After breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive with a packed picnic lunch. Explore the crater floor, which hosts a dense population of wildlife including the Big Five.
In the late afternoon, ascend from the crater and drive back to Arusha, arriving in the evening for drop-off or overnight stay at Green Mountain Hotel or similar on a Bed & Breakfast basis.
Departure Day: Arusha – Kilimanjaro International Airport
After breakfast and leisure time at your hotel, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your outbound flight. This marks the end of your safari experience.
