Samburu offers a unique safari experience with species not commonly found in southern parks, such as the Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, and Beisa oryx. At Aberdares, the safari takes a different form. Instead of traditional game drives, guests enjoy wildlife viewing directly from lodge terraces such as The Ark or Treetops Lodge. Lake Nakuru National Park Game Drive

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi – Aberdares National Park
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by your professional driver-guide and briefed on your safari. You will then depart for Aberdares National Park, arriving in time for lunch at your lodge.
In the afternoon, enjoy wildlife viewing from the lodge terrace as animals gather at the waterholes. This unique experience continues into the evening with floodlit game viewing.
Overnight: The Ark Lodge / Treetops Lodge

Day 2: Aberdares – Samburu National Reserve
After breakfast, depart for Samburu National Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, enjoy your first game drive exploring the rugged landscapes and riverine habitats of Samburu.
